This course will give you the necessary training to administer oxygen to victims of diving accidents. Along with theRescue Diver and Emergency First Responsecourses you will be prepared for most accidents eventuality.
The course will cover:
• Anatomy and physiology
• Signs and symptoms of near-drowning
• Decompression sickness and arterial gas embolism
• Benefits of oxygen
• Dive accidents and statistics
• Oxygen equipment assembly and familiarisation
• Use and disassembly of O2 equipment
• Treatment of simulated injured divers breathing and non-breathing, conscious and unconscious
• There is no minimum age or diver level required.
